We have been crowned The Lloyds Bank Local Business of the Year – West Midlands – at the British Excellence Awards.
A sense of pure delight and celebration filled the room at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards as the winners of each of the prestigious 17 categories were announced, from the ORESA Leader of the Year Award to the Lloyds Bank Sustainable Business of the Year Award.
The calibre of finalists in each category was very high, with Britain’s business elite filling every seat in the room. The evening was intertwined with entertainment and speeches from Sarah Austin, Director of the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, and Paul Gordon, Lloyds Banking Group Managing Director for SME & MID Corporates, giving inspirational talks to all finalists and winners. Sir Trevor McDonald OBE was a fantastic compere for the evening, bringing insight and unparalleled wisdom to the proceedings.
The awards this year have had an unparalleled calibre of finalists, with Jackson Family Funeral Directors and SF Recruitment, truly outshining their competition in each of their categories.
Matthew Jackson started Jackson Family Funeral Directors Ltd in March 2018. His mission is to provide a more transparent and affordable funeral service to the local community that focuses on delivering personal and emotional support to families in their time of need. Before 2020, Jackson Family Funeral Directors offered clients a welfare service that saw their funeral directors provide clients with emotional support during their bereavement. For this, and all the fantastic work Jackson Family Funeral Directors Ltd behind the scenes, they are worthy winners of The Lloyds Bank Local Business of the Year Award.
Matthew says: “What an accomplishment! We’re honoured to have achieved such recognition for our work and are humbled by the accolade. Well done to everyone – and a huge thank you to Lloyds Bank and Sponsors.”
Sarah Austin, Director of www.britishbusinessexcellenceawards.co.uk, commented:
“A true embodiment of the best of British Business, these businesses represent the innovation, creativity and resilience that makes them both worthy winners of the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards. Their positive contribution to the reputation and success of British business has not gone unnoticed and it will be great to see how winning an award of this stature will propel the company into the spotlight, where they can use this as a platform to go on and achieve great things in 2023 and beyond.”
